The cooperative of the members of the trade association of steel structures producers was formed in 2017 with the aim of meeting the needs of the members of the trade association of steel structures producers; the purpose of establishing this organization is to combine existing capacities and reduce production costs and create and expand culture of using the standardized steel structures. The industry of steel structures production is one of the most important industries which somehow impacts the level of development of the countries so that the industrial revolution is defined by the role of steel and its usage. This industry has played an effective role in all parent industries such as oil and petrochemical, electricity, transportation and railway network, and construction; in fact, the progress and development concepts will be meaningless without considering the industry of steel structures production. By pursuing and expanding the culture of using standardized steel structures, with the cooperation of the National Center for Standard Qualification of Iran and the General Administration of Standards in Tehran, Camsi Cooperative has been able to introduce authorized units in the field of manufacturing standard steel structures and create a field of mutual cooperation with the Engineering System Organization of Tehran Province and Tehran Municipality. The result of this cooperation emphasizes and compels design engineers, supervisors, and executives to communicate and use standard steel structures. In addition, Tehran Municipality, by sending a letter of approval to 22 regions, has forced the need to use standard steel structures for the completion of the work. With these measures, the engineering community of the country has practically been encouraged to prevent the wastage of capital through improving the quality of the buildings; and eliminating non-specialists in this industry, so that the people’s safety is protected from serious harm
